ok...............now that was scarey....1920...the new horror flick in town

ok...now i have seen a good chunk of horror movies....both indian and western and a few korean and chinese flicks....but i was really impressed with this particular hindi movie,.....the plot was very intelligently thought of...hats off to the writers...the special effects were great...the scenes looked realistic...
looks like the indian film industry is using a piece of the special effects home cake.....it was about time our directors and producers started using the services of our own computer graphics designers who have for long now, provided their services to hollywood....
the actress ADAH SHARMA has made me a fan of her work.....i dont know how she would suit the other roles but she sure made me believe she was possessed.
the movie was thought to be a rip-off of raaz, but personally it was a hell lot better in terms of the plot line and the special effects. the story was absolutely different and so was the music, which surprisingly enough did not feel haunted.
"1920" was shot in Allerton castle situated in Yorkshire in northern England and is seventh among the list of top ten haunted castles in the world. rumor has it that the crew, who never knew that the castle was haunted had some odd experiences to share at teh end of the month long shooting schedule...the hero, Rajneesh Duggal did a great job. already a celebrated model, the hunk has shown his metal in the field of acting as well.
the ending of the story was especially fun...with the
whole hanuman chalisa and the body levitation...the scene was really the outline of the whole movie.

all in all, the movie was great...right from the sets to the music to those Scottish horses and carriages to the songs by all legendry singers like asha bhonsle, kailash kher, shubha mudgal,Pandit Jasraj, Parveen Sultana and the musical maestro adnan sami , the movie is a wholesome experience. it is a true paisa vasool.so go watch it in a theatre if you can or in your home if you have a home theatre...
it is another awesome movie by ASA films...first mumbai salsa and now 1920., production house is fast becoming a name synonymous with amazing and, for a change, different movies.
the production house will surely take the indian cinema to newer heights..and there are many many more to come.................
